A small security consulting and risk management firm, OIS Global was founded on the values of Integrity, Innovation and Leadership because we believe that a small, dedicated, highly trained group of professionals are better adept at applying precision to tackle difficult technical issues. This is especially true regarding the problems we face in today’s high threat operating environment around the world. OIS Global’s personnel have backgrounds grounded in advanced intelligence tradecraft, counterterrorism, counterinsurgency operations, law enforcement and special operations forces support. Our personnel possess the skills to provide highly specialized security and risk management solutions to clients in both a stateside or deployed environment across the full spectrum of operations. In fact, this is where our expertise resides, in providing mission essential support to dynamic, highly complex operations in austere locations around the globe.

Leadership
John McCartney is the President and CEO of OIS Global, which he founded in January of 2014. He is a former US Army Infantry and Military Intelligence Officer having served in a variety of assignments, including as an advisor to the Iraqi National Police with the Iraq Assistance Group in East Baghdad and as a key member of US Pacific Command's, Security Cooperation Program, where he built critical partnerships with our allies in the Pacific. After he left the US Army in 2011, he served in numerous assignments within the Department of Defense and US Intelligence Community including the National Counterterrorism Center, National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and Office of the Director of National Intelligence. John is a Nationally Certified Paramedic and holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Master of Public Administration from Florida Gulf Coast University.
